Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
knowledge.on.engineering is a personal project run by an individual who makes short educational videos. This policy explains how the publishing tool behind the channel handles data.
What the tool does
The tool connects to the owner's own Google account and YouTube channel, and to the owner's own Instagram and TikTok accounts. Its only purpose is to upload videos that the owner has created to those same accounts. For YouTube it requests the single permission youtube.upload.
Data we access
The tool uses only the sign-in credentials the owner granted for the owner's own accounts. It does not read, collect or store personal information about viewers, subscribers, commenters or any other person.
How data is stored
Credentials are stored as encrypted secrets in the owner's private code repository settings and are used only to upload videos. They are never published, shared or displayed.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share Google user data with anyone. We do not use it for advertising, and no person reads it.
Google API Services
The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube
Features that connect to YouTube are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
